About Shows
Shows are full of laughs with lots of audience interaction and participation. Each show is arranged to suite the specific occasion and the ages of the children. All age groups are catered for, using different presentations and types of magic. Peter is equally at home doing shows for very young ones as he is for elementary aged children, right up to pre-teens.
For preschoolers, shows are very colourful, action-packed and visual with lots of situation-comedy and a touch of goofy slap-stick. Nothing scary. A few moments of hilarious fun is spent with one of his many puppet friends.
For older children, shows consist of really intriguing and amazing magic with much participation, and of course, many laughs.
For an audience with a wide age range, routines are performed suitable for everyone – some for the younger ones, some for the older ones, and not forgetting all those in-between. Everyone will be kept happy and entertained.
Special Shows for Birthday Parties
Throughout the year, more shows are given at birthdays than any other type. Suitable for any size audience and any size room or hall. It’s the birthday child’s big day so they are made to feel like a ‘star’.
Daycare Centres & Libraries
Much experience has been had at these venues too. A few educational/safety messages are incorporated for good measure. For a library show, the magic and fun are intermingled with references to books with some story-type magic routines, and encouragement to use the library and discover the wonders of reading.
Special Shows for Senior Citizens
Not only children, but senior citizens take great delight in Peter Rooke’s magic. He has special shows for seniors and has performed at many retirement, nursing and assisted living homes.
